    Tabacón Grand Spa & Thermal Resort is 150 kilometers from San Jose, Costa Rica’s capital, on the road that connects La Fortuna to Lake Arenal, in the country’s northern zone.     For the convenience of our guests, Tabacón offers this important information to make your stay more comfortable.
    Please read the following information and suggestions:

    Check-in / Check-out:

    Our check-in time is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is noon. If you wish to remain in the complex after you have checked out, please contact the hotel’s front desk. You can enjoy our facilities after check-out time, but you may not charge anything to the room.

    Security Box:

    We suggest placing your valuable items in the personal safety deposit boxes in each room. Tabacón is not responsible for any items lost that are not stored in the in-room safe deposit box or at the front desk.

    Dress code:

    Dress should be comfortable but not too casual. We recommend packing a pair of shorts since the weather may be warm. We also suggest wearing pants, jeans or skirts, and bringing a long-sleeve shirt for dining, as nights can be cooler.

    Immigration:

    We recommend our guests to carry their passport or a copy of it with them, to prevent any inconvenience.

    Climate:

    Costa Rica is a tropical country located between 8 and 11 degrees above the equator. It has only two seasons: dry and green, making for nice weather year-round. For detailed information we suggest you visit: cnn.com/weather

    Medical Attention and Emergencies:

    Medical help is available for consultation and emergency response for our guests. Hours are 12:00 noon to 9:30 p.m. This service is independent from the hotel and available at an additional charge. The hotel is not responsible for the medical service the guest requests.
