Guests staying at Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort are asked to donate voluntarily $3 per room per night spent at the resort with this support we handle The Community Fund.
Our community fund is focused mainly on the children and educational opportunities in the Fortuna / Arenal Region, extending to the whole San Carlos County. We work closely with community leaders, the Municipality and important government institutions such as the Education Ministry to properly channel the funds to maximize the social impact in the local population.
The main thrust behind our social investment is to:
Help underprivileged children stay in school, providing economic assistance in the form of school supplies, uniforms, transportation and even scholarships.
Improve the overall education levels through donation of computers and technology.
Recognize and reward excellence and achievements through prizes in school competitions.
