To preserve the peace and natural beauty of our thermal springs and ensure a memorable guest experience, Tabacon limits the number of day visitors. We highly recommend that you make reservations before you plan to visit, to avoid disappointment. This is especially important during high season (December through April, and July through August 31), when available spaces fill up quickly.

We offer several types of passes, allowing you to choose the time of day and length of your stay. Included with your pass is lunch and/or dinner, featuring the region's finest cuisine, at our Ave del Paraiso restaurant overlooking the hot springs.

  • By confirming the reservation process you authorize Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort to charge the total amount of your reservation on your credit card 15 days prior your arrival date. Except during Christmas Period (December 20th 2012 to January 02nd 2013) & Easter Week (March 22nd to March 31st, 2013) when reservations must be charged 45 days prior the arrival date.
  • Any inconvenient during the card transaction will be notified and we request your early reply in the next 24 hours in order to get a new credit card. Otherwise the reservation will be canceled because of non guarantee received.
  • All rates include 13% sales tax.
  • Any cancellation within 15 days prior to arrival will be charged 100%.
  • Any group cancellation within 29 days prior to arrival will be charged 100%.
  • Groups attritions within 21 days prior to arrival will be penalized 100%.
  • Cancellation of reservations for Easter Week, Christmas or New Year's made less than 44 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% penalty.
  • No shows will be 100% penalized.
  • Non guaranteed reservations will be automatically released.
  • There will be a charge in case of a lost key locker USD $ 50.00 or a lost towel USD $ 20.00
  • According to the Law 9028 Smoke Free Environment of Costa Rica effective March 2012; smoking in all public places be it indoors or outdoors is strictly prohibited. This legislation includes any and all areas of the Resort Property such as: all hotel & resort areas, guest rooms, restaurants, bars, lobby, pool areas, The Grand Spa, walk ways, gardens and green areas.
  • It is a requirement to present a passport, identity card or residency card of each guest at the check in time, check in process cannot be made without this document. (Driver license is not permitted).

  • Group reservations
  • We consider groups, reservations of 15 people and up.
  • Guarantee should be received 30 days prior the arrival date, except during Christmas Period & Easter Week ( 45 days)

  • Children policies
  • - 0 to 5 years old free of charge.
    - 6 to 11 years old pay the children rate
    - 12 years old and up pay as an adult.
