Day 1 | Arrival & An Extraordinary Dining Experience 

Your journey begins in the rainforest at the foot of Arenal Volcano, where mineral-rich thermal waters flow naturally across the landscape. 

Spend the afternoon immersed in Tabacón’s thermal river before experiencing one of the resort’s most exclusive culinary offerings: the Ephemeral Table Experience*. Set in a secluded rainforest location, this private dining experience features a six-course tasting menu paired with selected wines, prepared by a dedicated chef and served in an unforgettable natural setting. Inspired by Costa Rica’s biodiversity and seasonal ingredients, it is a celebration of nature, gastronomy, and connection. 

Day 2 | Wellness & Thermal Waters 

Start your day with a yoga session* surrounded by the sounds and energy of the rainforest. 

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace, exploring the thermal river, cascading pools, tropical gardens, and hidden corners that have made Tabacón one of Costa Rica’s most iconic wellness destinations. 

In the evening, enjoy an included à la carte dinner at Tucanes Restaurant, where local ingredients and contemporary culinary techniques come together to showcase the flavors of Costa Rica. 

Day 3 | Discovering Costa Rica 

After breakfast, join the Tabacon History & Nature Trail*, a guided journey through rainforest trails, volcanic landscapes, and the natural beauty that surrounds Arenal Volcano. 

Return to the thermal river for an afternoon of relaxation before discovering one of Costa Rica’s most celebrated traditions through a Coffee Tasting Experience. Explore the aromas, flavors, and stories behind one of the country’s most iconic exports while learning about the rich coffee heritage that has shaped generations. 

The evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether soaking in the thermal waters under the stars or exploring the resort’s culinary offerings.

  1. This package is available only for new reservations and is subject to availability. 

  1. Rates are based on double occupancy (2 guests) and include applicable taxes. 

  1. Additional guests may be added according to the room category’s maximum occupancy and applicable supplement. 

ACCOMMODATION 

  1. Accommodation includes a 3-night stay. 

  1. Maximum occupancy by room category: 

  1. Orchid Room and Tabacón Suite: Maximum occupancy of 2 adults + 2 children (2 adults + 2 children aged 11 and under, or 3 adults + 1 child aged 11 and under). 

  1. Rainforest Room, Volcano View Suite, and Private Pool Suite: Exclusively for guests 18 years of age and older, with a maximum occupancy of 2 adults per room. 

  1. Children 7 years old and under stay complimentary when sharing the room with their parents, according to the room category's maximum occupancy. They may enjoy the package inclusions applicable to their age. Additional children aged 8–11 years old include daily buffet breakfast, the Coffee Tasting Experience, the Ephemeral Table experience without wine pairing, the à la carte dinner at Tucanes Restaurant, and the Tabacón History & Nature Trail. Does not include the yoga session

  1. One à la carte dinner at Tucanes Restaurant per person is included. 

  1. The dining experience at Tucanes Restaurant includes one starter, one main course, one dessert, and one non-alcoholic beverage per person. Additional items and beverages are available at an extra charge. 

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES 

  1. One Tabacón History & Nature Trail per person is included and requires a reservation. Subject to availability. 

  1. One 60-minute yoga session per person is included. The yoga session is available only to guests aged 16 and older and is offered on the second day of the stay (excluding arrival and departure dates). Subject to availability. 

  1. Guests receive a 20% discount on spa treatments throughout their stay. Spa treatments are available only for guests 16 years of age and older. 

GENERAL CONDITIONS 

  1. Unused services are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for other services. 

  1. Offers included in this package cannot be combined with other promotions, contracts, or group reservations. 

  1. Regular Season: May 1 to August 26, 2026, and November 1 to December 17, 2026. 

  1. Low Season: August 27 to October 31, 2026.

PAYMENT POLICIES 

Full payment (100%) is required 45 days before arrival. 

CANCELLATION POLICIES 

  1. Cancellations made 90 days or more before arrival: no penalty applies. 

  1. Cancellations made between 89 and 45 days before arrival: a 50% penalty of the total reservation amount applies. 

  1. Cancellations made 44 days or less before arrival: a 100% penalty applies. 

  1. No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.
